Fades
Clean Fades. No Shortcuts.
A fade is only as good as the blend. Ours are cut so the line still reads clean two and three weeks out, not just on the walk home. Book one as a Signature Men’s Haircut.
The Work
Where The Blend Lives
A fade is a gradient, and gradients are unforgiving — the eye finds a hard edge instantly. The time goes into the transition: where the weight starts, how fast it drops, and how it sits against your hairline and the shape of your head.
Tell your barber how low you want it and how long you need it to last. High and tight reads sharp immediately but grows out faster; a softer taper holds its shape longer between visits. Both are cut the same way — carefully.
Going all the way down pairs it with beard work as the Bald Out with Beard. Want the hairline razor-sharp on top of it? Addstraight-razor lining.
How to book a fade

Before You Book
Fade Questions
What is the difference between a fade and a taper?
A taper is a gentle shortening around the edges — ears and neckline — and leaves noticeable length. A fade takes the sides down through several lengths into the skin or close to it. A taper is subtle; a fade is a statement. Your barber will show you where the line would sit before starting.
How often should I come back for a fade?
Two to three weeks keeps a fade looking intentional. Past four, the blend has grown into the length above it and reads as a regular haircut. If you want to stretch it, book a Line-Up Only between full cuts to sharpen the hairline for $25.
Can you do a skin fade?
Yes. Taken down to the skin with clippers and finished with a razor where you want it truly bald. Bald Out with Beard is the version that pairs it with a full beard trim.
Do fades work on curly or coily hair?
Yes, and they are cut differently — curl shrinks, so the barber accounts for how the hair sits dry rather than cutting to what it looks like wet. Every barber here works across all hair types.
Will a fade suit my head shape?
Usually, but where the line sits matters. A high fade lengthens; a lower one is more forgiving through the crown. That is a two-minute conversation in the chair before anything is cut.
