A Shop, Not a Chain
The Garage sits on West Wayne Street in downtown Maumee, and almost everything about it is deliberate — the chairs, the music, the fact that nobody's watching a clock while you're in the seat.
What started as a small shop has grown into a team of nine licensed barbers and more than 1,139 reviews on SQUIRE — and the reason is boring and unglamorous: we do the same careful job on a Tuesday morning walk-in as we do on a wedding party.
Clients drive in from Perrysburg, Waterville, Whitehouse and across Toledo. We'd rather earn that than advertise for it.

What You Can Count On
Every Hair Type
Straight, wavy, curly, coily — our barbers are trained and genuinely experienced across all textures. You will not be handed off because your hair is "difficult."
A Real Consultation
We talk before we cut. What grew out well, what didn’t, how much time you actually spend on it in the morning. Then we cut to that, not to a photo on the wall.
Clean Tools, Always
Fresh guards, sanitized shears, disinfectant between every client. It’s the least visible part of the job and the part we’re most particular about.
No Rush, No Upsell
You booked the chair, the time is yours. We’ll suggest an add-on if it genuinely suits you and drop it the moment you say no thanks.
